Abstract

The present research work addresses the potential of tourism as a generator of local development in tourist destinations, a specific case of Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico, as part of the method, this study refers to other research works related to the subject, as well as puts it in context. tourism as a preponderant economic sector worldwide, in addition to statistical review; resulting in the fact that an activity of this nature promotes growth in the locality of a region is justified.
